From June 10 to July 17, 2026, Nagoya University will host a summer program together with international students from partner universities. The program provides an opportunity for Nagoya University students to acquire advanced expertise in automobile engineering while enhancing communication skills and broadening perspectives through international exchange.

【Eligibility for Nagoya University Students】
Applicants must meet all the following requirements:
· Be enrolled as a fourth-year undergraduate student or a graduate student (master’s or doctoral program) at Nagoya University.
· Students who participate in all lectures are required to actively engage with international students, jointly conduct project-based research, and provide support as tutors, including assistance with Japanese language learning and understanding of Japanese culture. An honorarium will be provided for tutor duties (up to 40 hours).
· Applicants are expected to have English proficiency equivalent to or higher than the following:
TOEFL PBT 530 / CBT 200 / iBT 71, or TOEIC 670
(This requirement also applies to international students.)
【Fees Related to Course Participation】
· No tuition fee will be charged for lectures for students currently enrolled at Nagoya University.
· Transportation costs and admission fees for study tours as well as visits to companies and research facilities will be fully covered.
· Participation in the Japanese cultural study tour to Kyoto and Nara (June 11–12) is optional.
Participants are required to bear the cost of accommodation and related expenses, estimated at approximately JPY17,000.
· The company visit tour to the Kanto region (July 2–4) is conducted as an integral part of the course, and participation is mandatory for students enrolled in the full lecture program.
Participants are required to bear the cost of accommodation and related expenses, estimated at approximately JPY 25,000-30,000.
